Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Samantha, founder of Mortis & Co.
My background combines business education with hands-on experience in short term rental hosting, customer experience, travel, event planning and organization.
I currently operate my own short-term rental, which has given me firsthand experience with the realities of hosting; from preparing and maximizing a space to guest communication, property readiness, thoughtful amenities and creating an experience guests want to return to.
My education includes Business Accounting, Travel & Tourism and Wedding Planning, and I’m currently continuing my studies in Customer Relationship Marketing & Sales Management. Together, these areas have helped shape how I approach hosting: combining organization and systems with customer experience, communication and attention to detail.
My event planning and travel background also brings a different perspective to short term rentals. A great stay isn’t just about providing a place to sleep; it’s about anticipating what guests need, creating a welcoming environment and making the entire experience feel organized and intentional.
